How Men of Faith can use Skool to Build Their Business
May 1, 2025
What I love about what you are going to learn today, is it’s been tested by high caliber business owners. And it works. But it’s still new enough to be extremely effective.
I will show you how to do this in 4 steps:
Step 1: Make content that people love
“Okay, Seth, but what kind of content?”
Content on your topic.
“But how do I know people will love it?”
Stay focused on your one topic. Keep making content every single day. And the people meant to consume your content will find you.
You’re not making them love it. Let people who already love your topic find you.
BUT…when you make content, do not create content. Document.
Instead of creating content from scratch, just document your process. Document what you are learning.
If you want people to pay attention, stop chasing perfection and start showing up consistently. Document your journey instead of trying to create the perfect image—because authenticity beats strategy when it comes to building influence.
The biggest mistake is overthinking; just hit record, speak what you know, and keep going for 365 days.
If you find yourself always trying to create that perfect piece of content, it will stress you out and you’ll end up discouraged because there will always be someone creating better content than you.
Instead, focus on one thing: consistency.
I’ve had a fever every single day for the last 14 days. But every single day with the exception of one when I was at the hospital because my spleen was lacerated and was bleeding.

I have created content on this channel. If I can do it with a fever and severe headache, so can you.
Step 2: Invite people into your free Skool community
As people online engage with your content, invent them into your free Skool community. Inside this community they get access to your free mini course.

This free mini course is an abbreviated version of your full course that you sell for a price. And within the mini course you have a section that covers your offer–a breakdown of your full course.
Step 3: Incentivize your free mini course
When someone is free to complete something anytime they feel like it, what usually happens? They never get around to it.
Someone suggested I buy the book, Stealing Fire by Steven Kotler and Jamie Wheal. That book sat on my shelf for months. Why? Because I was free to get around to it whenever I wanted, it was always more convenient to push it off.
Don’t let this happen with your free community! Instead, incentivize them:
Rule #1: Complete the course in 5 days and you receive a reward.
The reward could be a high-value video that is extremely helpful to them. For example, “How to 2X Your Close Rate.” Make sure it’s a topic you know well so that what they consume it they are delighted.
Rule #2: If you do not complete the course within 5 days, you do not receive the reward and you get booted from the community.
This will sound harsh to some, but remember that your mission is not for everyone. Would you rather have a bloated community of people, 75% of whom never interact? Or a tight community of action takers who are dead set on building their online business? Your mission is only for a percentage of people in this world who resonate with what you do.
Requiring this without exception will result in three huge advantages:
First, you will end up with a community of action takers.
Second, far more people will end up watching your offer which means you will end up with more sales.
Third, people will believe you do what you say. In the future if you have a deadline date before your course price goes up, everyone will take you seriously instead of thinking it's a fake marketing trick.
“But, Seth, how can I guarantee they actually watched the videos?”
Include required assignments at the end of every video. Require them to post the assignment in the community.
Step 4: Make money while changing lives.
Think about what just happened in the above scenario: your expertise was matched with people around the world who value your expertise.
And the end result? You made money and their lives were changed.
You only need to sell a $10,000 course 100 times to make $1,000,000. And that’s just the beginning.
And yes, of the 8.2 billion people in this world, 0.0000012% of them would be more than happy to pay for your expertise.
What does this have to do with men of faith?
If you follow Yeshua of Nazareth, you are called to be a steward of your Master’s resources. That means your spiritual gifts, your relationships, your body, and your finances.
And what does a steward do? He takes responsibility for what belongs to his master, and he improves and grows them.
That includes your relationships.
That includes your body.
That includes your dime.
Why I do not think Skool is a trend that will expire any time soon…
In ancient times people preserved memories by scratching on the walls of caves at around 3,000 BC.
Then they came out with mosaics in 1500 BC.
Then images were drawn onto manuscripts in 500 AD.
Then tapestries in 1000 AD, followed by stained glass windows in 800 BC.

Oil paintings emerged at around 1400 AD followed by images carved into wood and metal plates in 1450 AD.
The photograph was invented around 1826.

In 1861 the first color photograph was taken followed by the first Polaroid camera in 1948.
The first digital camera prototype appeared in 1975.

In 1999 the web app Shutterfly appeared on the world wide web and in 2004, Flikr was released, one of the first popular photo-sharing apps.

Instagram showed up in 2010 and boasts 2 billion followers today.

Notice how through 5,000 years of history, even though the method of preserving memories has changed dramatically, the core human desire is still the same: preserving memories.
The same is true with humanity’s core desire for community. And right now, Skool offers the most optimized path to cultivating community in the context of a business.
